Yesterday, you uploaded your P3: 1,000 word process report. Congratulations. Project 3 is now complete.
Now you can focus your efforts on your Wix/ePortfolio page.

Your ePortfolio is the culmination of all the good work you have produced this semester. This is your showcase. 80% of your grade will be based on the completion of this project.
Listed below is everything you MUST have on your Wix page.
If it is not on the page, you won't get the points for it.
Let me repeat that: if you turned in something on Canvas this semester and received points, but fail to upload that assignment to Canvas, I WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE POINTS.
Your Wix/ePortfolio should include:
+About Me page
+Blog - I assigned 9 of these this semester. Each posts should be a minimum of 200 words each. To receive credit, you must have posted blog by the deadline, meet the word requirement for the particular assignment, and demonstrate knowledge of and engagement with the assigned topic. If you missed one, you can get half credit for it if it is posted before the final Wix deadline of Dec. 8.
+Project 1 page
● Most final graded version. Viewers should be able to read the draft without clicking on an
icon or downloading. (See P1 page on Class Wix for layout and design ideas)
● Reflection - (minimum 200 words) This should concern what you learned from the process
of writing the draft, the act of receiving feedback, and your plans for revision. If you haven't
already posted this, you can still get full points as long as it meets the word count.
● Links to previous drafts as Pdfs
+Project 2 page
● Most final graded version. Viewers should be able to read the draft without clicking on an
icon or downloading. (See P2 page on Class Wix for layout and design ideas)
● Reflection - (minimum of 200 words) Should concern what you learned from the process of
writing the draft, the act of receiving feedback, and your plans for revision. If you haven't
already posted this, you can still get full points as long as it meets the word count.
● Links to previous drafts as Pdfs
● Links to P2 Short Assignments 1, 2 & 3 as Pdfs
+Project 3 page
● All three genres. Make sure all genres are easily accessible.
● 1,000 word Process Report
● Evidence of promotion via screenshots.
● P3 Short Assignments 1 & 2 as Pdfs
You have already done all the work. All drafts and short assignments have been uploaded to Canvas. You must make sure you arrange it in a way for others to easily see what you have accomplished. This is a representative of your brand, which means that you can use this as examples of your work. You can use this Wix page as an example of you ability to write about a subject you are passionate about, conduct academic level research, compose a variety of compositions depending upon the audience AND design a website. These are the skills which will be helpful when applying for jobs, scholarships, and internships.
Deadline for the FINALIZED Wix/ePortfolio is FRIDAY Dec. 8 by 5PM. You must upload the link to Canvas AND Tweet the link to your classmates.
Before you post, make sure you:
Double check that the link is correct. View the site on your computer, your friend's computer, PC, Mac, everything. Email the link to a friend and make sure they can open it.
Make sure all your pages fulfill the requirements above.
Make sure all the hyperlinks on each page work.
Make sure previous drafts and Short assignments are Pdfs instead of Word Documents. Word documents force the reader to download a file to their computer where a Pdf will open in a new tab.
Make sure the viewer can comfortably read everything on the page. You are not graded on how flashy and fancy your website looks. Distracting backgrounds can frustrate the reader and make uploading the page more difficult.
Use the fonts and colors provided with your Wix template. When you add text (either a headline or paragraph), your template offers "Themed Text". These are fonts which look good together. Use them. Same with the provided color scheme on the page.
If you revised, make SURE the revision draft is the primary text on the page, replacing the previous draft.
As always, I am available for questions and comments during daylight hours on Twitter, and Office Hours for Video Conferences. I'm adding EXTRA office hours on WEDNESDAYS. Be sure to book your appointment if you want to chat.
DON'T FORGET: You are still Tweeting this week. Make sure you hit all your 10 before FRIDAY Dec. 8. Twitter Assignment: Develop your own tweets. (Minimum of 10). Must relate to genre, multimodal projects, remediation or other topics discussed in class.
